WBJEE entrance exam is required for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering/Technology/ Medical/Dental and Pharmacy in Universities/Colleges in West Bengal.
Candidate should have passed the H.S.(10+2) with at least 50.00% marks in PCM or PCB. (40.00% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30.00% marks in English.

WBJEE form can be obtained from designated branches of United Bank of India and also by post from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) by sending a request with a demand draft. The duly filled in WBJEE form should be sent by Speed post only.
There are three different papers in WBJEE entrance exam:
Paper 1: Physics & Chemistry
Paper 2: Mathematics
Paper 3: Biological Sciences
For admissions to Engineering and Architecture courses, students have to appear for WBJEE Paper 1 and Paper 2. For admissions to Medical Courses - Paper 1 and Paper 3. For Pharmacy courses - Paper 1 and any of Paper2 or Paper 3. All the questions are objective questions. There is a section of subjective portion after the objective questions.
The candidate has to apply in 'E' form of test. The test would have question for subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Apply for 'M' type – it would have questions for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
