UPTU 2012 entrance exam is conducted for admission to various technical courses like engineering, management, architecture, pharmacy, hotel management in various colleges of Uttar Pradesh affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. After the UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Entrance) examination, students have to go through the counseling procedure to get admission. The competition is quite tough as large number of students appear for the examination. Students should get a good score in UPTU entrance exam to get admission into their desired course and college.
UPTU Application Form
To be eligible for UPTU Exam 2012, candidate should have passed Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry or Bio Technology or Computer Science or Biology subject. There are two ways to obtain UPTU SEE forms 2012.
UPTU application form can be obtained from Head post offices of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Dehradun and Nainital. UPTU application form may also be obtained by post. To receive UPTU application form by post, candidate will have to send the request along with the payment by Demand Draft. The examination is held generally in the month of April. The dates for UPTU SEE exam 2012 have not been announced yet. Based on previous year examination, the tentative dates follow as:
Issue of UPTU Forms 2012: Third week of February, 2012
Last Date for request of form by post: Fourth week of February, 2012
Last Date of receipt of duly filled application form: third week of March, 2012

UPTU Exam 2012
UPTU entrance exam consists of two papers for admission to B.Tech courses. There will be one paper on Physics and Chemistry for 150 minutes duration. The question paper will have 75 questions each on Physics and Chemistry.
The other paper will be on Mathematics and will have 90 questions in all. Students will be given 90 minutes to attempt the paper.
Candidates are required to prepare well for the examination. The paper will have no negative marking so the candidates should attempt maximum number of questions in the paper. To score well in the exam, it is important that students understand UPTU syllabus and make a study schedule. Practice using sample papers and practice papers to get familiar with the pattern and the type of questions that are asked in the exam.
