CBSE Exam Pattern


The board has already introduced the grading system for the CBSE takers. But just after the introduction of the grading system, another innovative introduction from the Central Board of Secondary Education is Students Global Aptitude Index (SGAI). SGAI is a test to gauge the student’s aptitude and inclination students. SGAI will be held in May-June 2012 for two-and-a-half-hours. It will be aimed at assessing students' understanding ability and speed to any new subject and unfamiliar life situations.

The SGAI would asses a student on the following categories:

  • Behavioral Science Aptitude

In an effort to encourage participation of students in extra-curricular activities, a child is assessed through the year in both academics and extra-curricular activities under CBSE's new concept of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). With CBSE’s sincere efforts for making major improvements in the complete study and evaluation system, the fear CBSE board exam should not be there among students anymore.
