BITS pilani is conducting BS (Engineering Technology) for working engineering diploma holders.Please let me know if this is equvivalent to BE or B Tech? Do industry recognize it as Garduate in Engg?

This is a specially designed Distance Learning programme for catering to the Human Resource Development requirements of diverse spectrum of Engineering Industries. This course is six semester duration course and does not equivelent to BE or B.tech course. This course is for Employed persons in Engineering Industries with about 2 years work experience and a Technical Diploma / B.Sc. or its equivalent with adequate background in Mathematics. Employer consent with suitable mentor availability will be additional requirements.
