Course: Bachelor of Arts (Animation FX & Digital Film)

This Bachelors-level course is offered in 6 semesters and includes an industry internship at the end of the programme, where all that has been learn throughout the programme is put into practice. The semesters are further divided into several sections and each section includes assignment, project and/or research work at its end. The curriculum includes:

  • Introduction to media; art, painting & drawing, HTML and multimedia and web-design in the first semester,
  • Introduction to film making and video basics in the second semester,
  • Digital recording; 3D graphics, audio and video for multimedia and advanced filmmaking in the third semester,
  • Direction of documentaries, music videos and short films; costume design; makeup classes and film appreciation and critique in the fourth semester,
  • Media & culture, media law studies and business in the fifth semester, and
  • Advanced industry applications, specialized film projects and industry internship in the sixth semester.
