This two years' MBA program helps transform young graduates into future managers. Unlike traditional postgraduate programs in Management, it goes beyond classroom learning and management labs and trains the students in real-world business or industry setup. In the classroom, students learn about management concepts but also gain insight into finding solutions to day-to-day business problems. At workplace, they get an opportunity to observe how the concepts he or she is learning are applicable in real life situations. The unique industry integration component of the program helps the students to master applied knowledge of management and business and develop leadership abilities, so that they can handle the transition to managerial and business development positions effectively.
There are 16 Compulsory papers in the First year followed by the summer project in between the First year and Second year. In the Second year there are 4 Compulsory Papers and 9 Optional papers of which 6 papers are in the Major area of specialization and 3 papers are in the Minor area of specialization, followed by the Dissertation. Students develop the potential to become senior managers with specializations in finance, marketing, manufacturing, human relations, information technology and strategic planning.
