7971 Newcastle University India Scholarships (PG) - 3 scholarships

The International Office is delighted to announce 3 Newcastle University Indian Scholarship (NUIS PG) awards. These are available for high achieving Indian students applying for entry onto postgraduate taught degree programmes within the Faculties of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences (FMS) commencing their studies in September 2011. Each scholarship will have a value of £4,000, payable towards the first year of tuition fees.

Eligibility You could be eligible to apply for a NUIS PG award if:

  • you have been offered a place on any postgraduate taught degree programme in the faculties of SAgE or FMS
  • you are an Indian national and have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes.
  • you have an average of 70% or more in Bachelors degree and satisfy all other requirements
  • you intend to register to start your studies during the 2011-12 academic year.

Newcastle University India Scholarships (UG) - 1 scholarship

This is available to a high achieving Indian student applying for entry onto undergraduate degree programmes within the Faculties of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences (FMS) commencing their studies in September 2011. The scholarship will have a value of £4,000, payable towards the first year of tuition fees.

Eligibility

You could be eligible to apply for this scholarship if:

  • you have applied through UCAS by Wednesday, 30 June and been offered a place to study on one of our undergraduate degree programmes for 2011/12 entry
  • you are an Indian national and have been assessed as overseas for fees purposes and are self funding
  • you have already achieved or will achieve an agreed level of academic performance in your pre-university qualifications
  • you have already accepted or will accept Newcastle University as your first choice university
