Hello J,
There are a good number of institutes / colleges that you can consider for a course in Fashion Designing / Technology etc. However, what you are likely to come across are the certificate and Diploma programs, the duration varying from 12 months to 24 months.
However, while there are number of institutes for a Bachelors degree, the only university that offers a Master of Science in Clothing and Textile Sciences in New Zealand is the University of Otago, with one year and two year programs. As per the information available, the fee structure for the course happens to be NZ $26,000. Academically you are eligible for the program since the degree requires a four-year honours degree or postgraduate diploma.
Considering a Certificate or a Diploma program should not be a cause of worry, since you hold a Masters degree.
However, which ever course you finalize on you might come across specific entry requirements like statement to prove your genuine interest in this field, supply self designed garments or artwork in a portfolio.
Some of the names that you can keep under consideration are listed below :
• School Of Fashion, CPIT
• Northtec
• Bay Of Plenty Polytechnic
• Waiariki Institute Of Technology
• Fashion Design College Of New Zealand
I hope the above stated helps!
Take care!
