HSC Maharashtra Board 2011: Procedure for Rechecking Application

Disappointed with your HSC results 2011? Apply for rechecking.
If you find your HSC Maharashtra results far below expected in any particular subject, chances are that you would like to get re-evaluation of your answer sheet. The candidates can ask for re-evaluation or rechecking of the answer sheets after HSC Maharashtra results are announced.
After Maharashtra HSC results declaration, the original mark sheets are issued for all candidates. In case a candidate wants to apply for re checking, he/she needs to send the mark sheet along with the application.
Those who decide to opt for rechecking will have to follow a proper procedure for rechecking of their answer sheet. Sometime low marks may also be due to not adding up of practical marks to the total marks in Maharashtra HSC Exams. However, all these concerns are addressed when a student applies for rechecking. Also, rechecking can result in no change in the HSC 2011 results mark sheet.

HSC Maharashtra Board - Procedure for Rechecking
Students who wish to apply for rechecking need to follow the prescribed procedure:
- Procure the rechecking application form HSC Maharashtra board.
- Fill the required details carefully and send it to the Public Information Officer (PIC) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
- As per rules governed by RTI, candidates applying for rechecking need to make the payment for filing fee. If a student feels that his marks are less than he/she expected in more than one subject, he/she can request for rechecking in more than one subject also.
- In one application form, he/she can mention the subjects in which he/she would like to get the rechecking done.
- Along with the application form, a student needs to attach a Photostat copy of the mark sheet.
