Winners of CBSE and other ‘Board Battles’
As the board exam results of CBSE, ICSE and ISC are being declared, there is a wave of celebration spreading all over. StudyPlaces brings you a list of those who emerged as winners in the year long board-battle from various zones.
Different people have different protocols for success. While most are meticulous, others are relaxed. A similar situation story was witnessed in Ghaziabad where the ICSE and ICS toppers of class 10th and 12th emerged from the same school yet with different styles. Ayushi Singhal topped class 10th exams (ICSE) in the national capital region of Ghaziabad with 96.88% (in English and best four subjects) while Kamelia Majumdar got a whopping 98% (in English and best three subjects) to reach the top in class XII (ISC). Both the girls are from Holy Child school in Ghaziabad. The beauty of their success lies in the contrast of their success journey. While 16 year old Arushi Singhal started studying only a month prior to her 10th board exams, a studious Kamelia put in eight to nine hours every day in the last month and gave up on almost everything else. Both are equally delighted with their performance!
Ayushi was among 1,843 students who took the class X exam from 29 schools in the NCR. In class XII, 832 students from 17 schools sat for the exams held in February-March this year from among whom Kamelia got the highest aggregate. Kamelia got a perfect 100 in maths, 99 in EVS, 98 in computer and 95 in English.
Forerunner of Faridabad
It was the happiest day in the life of Gaurav Garg, a student of Apeejay School. Gaurav topped the class 12th CBSE board with 97% marks in the nonmedical stream in the Faridabad region. It was the principal of his school who informed Gaurav that he has topped the CBSE 12th board in Faridabad region.
Gaurav attributes his success to concentration and focus more than hard work. For future, he aims to be among the top scorers of AIEEE entrance test and study engineering.
Eighteen-year-old Rishav Binayak Das was ecstatic on the most crucial day of his life, his class 12th board result. With a 97.2% aggregate, this student of Amity International School, Sector 43, has emerged as the topper in CBSE class XII results in Gurgaon.
The amazing part of Rishav's feat is that he did not join any coaching classes and depended solely on his teachers for studies. He therefore attributes his success to his teachers and parents.
Now the science student is eagerly waiting for the IIT entrance results with a hope to get through,
Talking about ICSE in Gurgaon, Shweta Chopra from Sriram School has emerged as the ICSE class XII exams topper from Gurgaon with an aggregate of 97.75%.
StudyPlaces wishes all the best to these and all other students with their class 10th and class 12th board result.
